On a related note, it's astounding how badly they botched the Star Wars IP which should have been a license to just print money with merchandising tie-ins. As much as the prequel films were panned compared to the originals, the 2000s were still a golden age for Star Wars toys and videogames, but you see absolutely none of that with the Sequel Trilogy era, instead they're spending gargantuan sums of money on streaming service TV shows nobody likes rather than a much smaller initial investment on newer versions of games like Republic Commando, TIE Fighter, Battlefront, Pod Racer, or Rogue Squadron. Just total mismanagement that doesn't even make financial sense.
