Yeah definitely points worth mentioning. I thought that movie brought a more gritty and realistic take on the Batman that hadn’t been seen in prior movies. I found it refreshing and have ended up watching it multiple times. It’s my favorite Batman movie. I felt like I was watching a good detective movie that had Batman as a character
Well done and a superior play on the detective side of the Batman character, but very funny coincidence that the love interest/ally, Gordon and only non-corrupt, reformer politician were all black while the supervillain was turned into an online incel type.
It's funny you talk about how cgi in the 90s was bad and it got to a place in the late 90s early 00s that was acceptable and good but then by 2007 or so cgi became total visual vomit that had to undergo some more serious refinement before marvel really blew up in the teens
Absolutely, I kind of doubt cgi could ever create something that registers in your mind as real as easily blade runner does. It always felt like it had been effortless for them.
Enjoyable episode. Do you have an opinion on the matt reeves Batman movie?

Greatest achievement in special effects history is Blade Runner's effects still holding up 40 years later. Cityscape scenes look great even today.
